Qualities such as maturity, independence, mental toughness, creativity, and what I call that certain “X-Factor” (or WOW Factor) can be encouraged and modeled by a good coach, but these are characteristics that a player will need to develop on their own. Incidentally, this is the sort of personal development that will not only make you more successful at soccer, but also more successful at life in general. Mr. Jay Krishna reflects this with his skills and knowledge in running the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel Property and on the other side, soccer player for his Sogi Football Club.
Mr. Krishna is very passionate about soccer. He currently plays aside with some of the employees of Tanoa Tusitala Hotel and captain of his team. With his great leadership skills, he leads his team with pride and have been qualified to compete in the Premier Division this season.
With his love and skills in the game, he was awarded the Golden Boot award in 2018 by the Football Federation Samoa (FFS) for being an outstanding player in the 1st Division League. He played 14 games and with his team support he scored 23 Goals.
Recently he was selected to join the Kiwi FC, who were the winners of the Premier League in 2018. The team went to compete in OFC Champions League Qualifier tournament that was held in Cook Islands last month. The Team had a successful tournament and now has qualified for the next stage which is held in Vanuatu.
